DRAFT CONTENT: last updated 3rd November 2024.
To become a preferred supplier for work on the Woolley Grange estate, you must demonstrate compliance with essential UK business insurances and relevant certifications. We require all contractors to hold the following:
Public Liability Insurance
A minimum coverage of £5 million to protect against claims for injury or damage arising from your operations.
Employers' Liability Insurance
Required for any business with employees, ensuring coverage for workplace injuries or illnesses.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Essential for professionals providing advice or services, protecting against claims of negligence or inadequate work.
CHAS Registration
All contractors must be registered with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) to demonstrate their commitment to health and safety standards. Compliance with Health and Safety regulations is mandatory. Preferred suppliers should have up-to-date risk assessments and safety policies in place.
Relevant Qualifications
Depending on the nature of the work, specific trade qualifications or industry certifications may be required. This ensures that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
To initiate the tendering process, please submit your documentation confirming these insurances and qualifications. We look forward to collaborating with reliable partners committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of Woolley Grange.
