Additional notes
Minutes from previous meeting agreed as correct. A discussion took place in relation to the Parish council meetings. It was agreed members of WGRA would attend their meetings.
Treasury update
Money in bank £27536.65. Invoices not yet paid by RMG in relation to step repairs.
Community payback
They wanted a copy of the public liability insurance this has now been sent over to them but no communication from them as yet. JG left a voicemail for James asking him to get back but no update as yet.
Some invasive weeds have been found at the site which need to be treated prior to any work commencing. The weed killer has been purchased but there needs to be a long period of dry weather before this can be applied.
Community grow
Planning application not yet complete LS will be working on this on Monday 17th July.
Events planning
A date for the Christmas event has been agreed as Sunday 3rd Dceember 2023, this will take place at the Cricket Club and then around the tree on the Grange. It was agreed we would apply for a grant from Woolley Parish Council to help with the cost for the event.
Road adoption
A meeting had been arranged between YW and Bovis to discuss this issue however Bovis cancelled the meeting. A further date is to be arranged for this meeting, Simon Lightfoot will be writing to residents to ask for comments in relation to this matter.
Actions
- JG and WR to put a post together for FB to inform the residents of the importance of replying to the letter.
Planters update
The request to place planters on the mini roundabout has been declined again as there needs to be sufficient space on the roundabout for large vehicles to drive over the kerb if required.
WR has started to re-treat the planters from around the development these will be re planted with plants and re positioned around the development.
Resident directors
Following the input from Paul Kitterick a post was circulated on the FB page to all residents. 6 people expressed an interest in the role ( Will Dickinson, Alex Berry, Si Vito, Kevin Hayes, Steve Beverley and Paul Kitterick) and a meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 18th July 2023.
Actions
- JG and WR to attend meeting to represent the committee.
- JG to send the information in relation to the role of the resident director to PS for the Website.
