Treasury

The accounts have been received from Luke Streeting but nothing has been entered on the accounts since he has been treasurer, however the bank statements cover all expenditure and income. Treasurers post will now be vacant and required to be filled at the AGM. PS volunteered to help with this role until the AGM.

Actions

• JG to prepare full accounts prior to next meeting.

Funding application

An application has been made to Woolley Parish Council for funding to assist with the Easter event, public liability insurance, the cost of the electricity spur and a waterproof cabinet for the signs at the bottom of The Grange.

Easter event

NG sent an update prior to the meeting. He will be running the vent on Easter Sunday with a treasure hunt around the estate beginning and ending at the playground. He has asked for a volunteer to help. JG will help with this on the day.

Community Grow

This is well on the way, the weed membrane has been layed and the beds are being built. There has been a lot of interest in owning a bed and/or being part of the community beds.

RMG update

There has been no communications for a few weeks, the slide in the playground still requires fixing and the bins are overflowing and are not currently being emptied.

Directorship

KH informed the meeting that a meeting has been held with the current directors and they are eager to hand over the responsibility to the residents. They currently have some obligations they need to meet, an agenda for what is required is a little slower than expected but this is being driven by Steve Berry.

A discussion took place in relation to the trees being cut down by the power company which in turn casued flooding to some residents gardens. Luke Devine (the land owner) gives authority to prune the trees but not to cut them down and is unhappy with the current situation. A meeting is arraned with AVOVE utilities in relation to this at 10.30 27th March, JG and WR to attend this meeting.

Website

PS and JG to produce material for the Community Grow and Eco Kids ready for inclusion on the Website.
