AGM

Proposed date for AGM is mid to end of September which will allow for progress to be made in relation to the directorship.

Directorship

KH updated the meeting that this was progressing, Bovis Vistry had purchased the land for the soak aways. The adoption of the roads is progressing and nearly complete.

Windhill Woods

A discussion took place in relation to the mine shaft in the woodland, it was agreed a description of the suspects re the damage would be obtained from Si Hewitt who had repirted the issue to the committee. It was agreed the shaft was on WGA land therefore the repair was a matter of urgency. This would be arranged and the matter reported to the Police via on line reporting. It was agreed once the repair had been carried out a wildlife camera would be purchased and sited in order to capture any further damage.

It was agreed a funding application would be submitted to the Parrish council to cover the cost of Public Liability Insurance, the electricity spur and the purchase of stones to close the gaps in the woodland where off road bikes are gaining access.

JG informed the meeting were now registered with the Woodland Management which will allow access to funding streams.

JG and WR had negotiated with Northern Power a contribution of £282 per annum.

Facebook groups

A discussion took place in relation to the For Sale and Services site. It had been noted people were posting the same advert for their businesses on a daily basis which was in breach of the site rules. Matt Barlow owns this site as he set this up several year ago, it was agreed this was not an ideal situation as he was no longer a member of the committee. LN had been deleting the posts and sending feedback to the individuals concerned re the rule breach. It was agreed PS would look at the sites and formulate a plan of how best to deal with this.

Any other business

The mobile bar had been running for a couple of week and there had been a couple of negative comments on the Facebook page, although there had been a great deal of support for the event. It was agreed this would be closely monitored and any action required would be taken immediately.
