Events

Halloween event: NG putting post on Facebook page re event. JG, KH putting street signs out on 30/10/25.

Xmas event: It was agreed the date for this would be the 7th December 2025, this should be a low key event with the tree lights switch on and Hunters Bar.

Summer gala 2026: This would be the same as this year as it had been very successful and had been very little input for the committee on the day. WR had arranged for the stalls etc and they were aware where they needed to be etc.

Dates for Hunters Bar 2026: May 29 - Sept 25th on a weekly basis, however this would be moved around the development, 6 weekends at the playground, 6 near to the pumping station and the last 6 at the playground. This would hopefully minimise the number of complaints.

Community garden

There had been a theft of the water tanks from the community garden although they had been chained to the container it appears the thieves had cut the metal cage of the tanks. This had not been caught on CCTV. The matter had been reported to the Police. It was agreed going forward the top would be cut off the tanks as this makes them less appealing and would also catch rainfall. These would be covered with mesh to avoid wildlife falling into the tanks.

Windhill Woods

This is progressing although this is slow, the woodland trust representative is slow in replying to emails due to other work commitments. JG to continue pursuing this.

Directorship

Steve Beverley has been trying to progress this matter, however communications with Bovis Vistry is slow. Numerous residents still have outstanding management fees which are being chased by A Dandy Wren.

Roles of the directors to be discussed and should be in a position to be nominated and voted in at the management company AGM in November.

AGM

WGRA should have conducted an AGM in June 2025, however due to other commitments this has not been possible. It was agreed the date for the AGM would be 14/1/2026 at the cricket club.
